Overview

Oregon state websites must provide equal access to people with a wide range of abilities. The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities recognizes that equal access to the web is a basic human right.

Accessibility law (Section 508 of the American Rehabilitation Act) and Oregon state law require websites to be accessible. Oregon is also committed to following the Website Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2 guidelines. These guidelines will help ensure your website is accessible to visitors of all abilities.
